Our materials

We only use precious metals in our production. Our products are available in two metal finishes; gold vermeil and sterling silver 925 plated with rhodium. The stones we use are cubic zirconia.

Gold Vermeil

Gold vermeil is a legal term designated to gold plated pieces of a certain standard. The main components of this are that the base material used is sterling silver and that the gold plating is of a certain thickness. In comparison to fashion jewellery made with a base of non-precious metals such as brass, copper or steel, and with only a very thin gold plating, pieces made of gold vermeil guarantee the customer that the pieces are of a higher quality.

With the right treatment jewellery made of gold vermeil can last, and sparkle, for years and makes for an excellent alternative for the creation of high-quality jewellery.

Rhodium plated sterling silver 925

Our rhodium finished sterling silver pieces are made of sterling silver 925 plated with rhodium. Rhodium is one of the world’s strongest and most valuable metals. It has a very shiny appearance and ensures a sparkly and durable product.

Cubic zirconia

Cubic Zirconia (CZ) is a man-made gemstone. CZ measures 8-8.5 out of 10 on Mohs Scale for measuring the relative hardness of minerals. The hardness of a diamond measures 10 on the same scale, with other precious and semi-precious stones such as Emerald, Aquamarine and Topaz having about the same hardness as CZ. CZ is thus a very durable stone, and combined with its shiny properties and availability in a range of colours it has become a favoured choice for a sparkly albeit affordable style.

All our jewellery is nickel-free and allergy-friendly.
